I trained originally at Cardiff College of Art and I have studied at the Sir John Cass School of Art, the Prince’s Drawing Studio and the Slade summer school, all in London. I have successfully shown work in local and London galleries, in open exhibitions at the Mall Galleries, regularly with Chelsea Art Society, and have held one-man exhibitions in UK. I am an Associate of the Society of Graphic Fine Art, and a full exhibiting member of the Armed Forces Art Society, Farnham Art Society and the Dorking Group of Artists, where I served as chairman for five years, as well as for many years working as exhibition and membership secretary of the Lloyd’s Art Group in the City of London.

I give demonstrations and workshops to local groups, where I allow my work to progress in an open and unrehearsed way, so that my students can learn from the difficulties as well as triumphs as a painting progresses.

Each year in June, under the Surrey Artists Open Studios scheme, Paul and I open our house to visitors on several days.  My husband is a wood turner and has collected many admirers of his beautiful and original work.
